About P-Force® Fort

Rating of sales:

P-Force® Fort is the anti-impotence medication manufactured by Sunrise Remedies. The medicine contains the active substance Sildenafil which belongs to a group of drugs called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It works by helping to relax the blood vessels in your penis, allowing the blood to flow into your penis when you get sexually excited. P-Force® Fort will only help you to get an erection if you are sexually stimulated. Once administered, the drug starts working within 30-60 minutes and can sustain its effect for up to 4 hours.

P-Force® Fort is also a potent vasodilator antihypertensive medicine utilized to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension, a condition when the blood pressure in the arteries supplying blood to your lungs from your heart is too high. These arteries become narrowed so the heart has to work harder to pump the blood to the lungs. Sildenafil relaxes the muscles in the walls of the arteries, allowing the blood vessels to become wider. This reduces the pressure in the arteries and allows blood to flow more easily through them. In turn, this increases the supply of blood to your lungs and improves your ability to do physical activities.

How do I take P-Force® Fort?

Always take your medication exactly as prescribed to you by your doctor. For the treatment of erectile dysfunction, take your Sildenafil tablets up to 1 hour before having sex (although it can get to work anywhere between 30 to 60 minutes and last for about 4 hours after you took it). Swallow the tablets whole, without chewing or crushing them. You may take the medicine with or without food but not more than once a day. Consult your doctor for an appropriate dosing regimen to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension.

Things to avoid when taking P-Force® Fort

Heavy meals - the medicine works best on an empty stomach. It will not start to work as fast after eating a heavy, high-fat meal.

Grapefruit juice - drinking grapefruit juice while taking Sildenafil tablets can increase your chance of getting side effects.

Alcohol - consuming alcoholic beverages can stop the medication from working effectively.

Amyl nitrates (‘poppers’) - these can interact with Sildenafil and can cause potentially serious side effects.
